Maserati Ghibli in Blu Emozione Finish
Maserati Ghibli Looks Gorgeous in Blu Emozione Finish Maserati has released a set of photos showing off its new Ghibli in the Italian automaker’s exotic Blu Emozione finish. The Ghibli made its world premiere at the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show in April and will be offered in the U.S. with two different 3.0-liter V6 turbo motors. The base model will have 330 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque while the higher-end sedan will offer 410 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque. Other markets will also be able to opt for a 3.0-liter V6 turbo-diesel engine with 275 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque. Destined to compete with the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class, the Maserati Ghibli is shaping up to be a real winner for the Italian automaker. Pricing still hasn’t been officially announced for the Ghibli, but it is expected to be on the higher-end of the segment.

Pagani Zonda Revolucion Revealed with 800-HP, Priced from $2.9 Million
Pagani Zonda Revolucion Revealed with 800-HP, Priced from $2.9 Million
Already building some of the world’s most exotic cars, Pagani today announced its latest achievement, the Zonda Revolucion.
Calling it the, “apex of the celebration of performance, technology and art applied to a track car,” the Revolucion is based on a carbon-titanium monocoque and weighs just 2,359 lbs. Making that feat more amazing is that it’s powered by a very large 6.0-liter V12 engine, which now develops 800 hp and 538 lb-ft of torque.
Power then makes it to the rear wheels using a 6-speed sequential gearbox with gear changes in just 20 ms. And keeping it all under control is a 12 stage traction control system. Braking has also been improved with new CCMR brake discs, derived from Formula 1, which help cut an additional 15% of the weigh from conventional carbon ceramic discs. Perhaps more amazing is that these new rotors will last four times as long.
In addition to more power, it’s even more capable on the track thanks to active aerodynamics with the brand’s DRS (Drag-Reduction-System) used for the rear spoiler. The DRS has two operating modes (both selectable via a button on the steering wheel). The first will differ between maximum and minimum downforce when experiencing lateral g force loads of plus-or-minus 0.8 g, and while above 62 mph. The second setting engages an algorithm programmed by Pagani engineers that will aim to deliver the most stability (and also the least drag) when needed.
Designed to be the, “ultimate experience” for those in search of a track toy, the Zonda Revolucion is priced at 2.2 million Euros, or roughly $2.9 million.
